Data Deletion Instructions — beprogrammer

Data Deletion Instructions (English)

Last updated: 2026-10-12

beprogrammer respects your right to delete your personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what is deleted, and when it is processed.

1) How to Submit a Deletion Request

Send your request via one of the following:

Please send the request from the same email address or WhatsApp number registered with us, and include:

  • Your full name.
  • The email and/or phone number you registered with.
  • A clear statement: "I want my data deleted."

We will never ask you for your password or any sensitive data. If anyone claims to be from beprogrammer and asks for that, do not reply and contact us at +962 7 8876 4199.

2) What Gets Deleted

  • Your platform account (name, email, phone, profile picture if any).
  • Your activity log: lessons watched, test results, gamification points, tickets, and personal notes.
  • Your phone number and email are removed from the Custom Audiences we have uploaded to Meta, within the next refresh cycle.
  • Your WhatsApp conversations with us — upon explicit request.

3) Response Time

We process requests within 30 days of receipt and send a confirmation message when done.

4) What We May Retain After Deletion

We may be legally or accounting-required to retain certain data after your account is deleted, specifically:

  • Payment records and invoices — for income tax and sales tax requirements.
  • Certificate records — we retain the fact that you completed a specific course, in order to verify the certificate later if an employer requests it.
  • Aggregated, anonymized records for statistical purposes — these do not identify you personally.

5) Partial Deletion

You may also request:

  • Removal of your phone number from Meta ad audiences only, without deleting your platform account.
  • Correction or editing of specific data rather than deletion.

For more detail on the data we collect, see our Privacy Policy.
